Steering Group

The Autohub steering group is made up of representatives from large vehicle manufacturers, tier 1’s and supply chain SME’s and key stake holders.

The role of the Steering Group

Review the project status and make recommendations, consisting of:

  • Understanding of the role of higher apprenticeships within the NW automotive sector
  • Provided consolidated company input into the Advanced Engineering &Manufacturing Framework and Automotive Pathway being developed by SEMTA
  • Identification of delivery challenges
  • Identification of existing preferred providers
  • Assessment and feedback on proposed provider & delivery options
  • Recommendations for the operation of network hubs
  • Recommendations on the project marketing plan
  • Review and make recommendation on the project risk analysis
  • Project financial status (including in-kind contributions)

Assist in the development of the scheme into a broader sustainable offering

Review and approval of steering group membership

Approve changes to the terms of reference of the steering group

Make recommendations to the NAA board on the progress and outcomes of the project
